Your Mac can install Windows on the hard drive, by setting aside and making spare for a Windows partition using Boot Camp and Boot Camp Assistant (in Utility folder, inside Applications).

I'd suggest planning on version of Windows, size of volume (depends on how much space is available), but first and foremost: BACKUP first. Then consider if it is worth all the effort. Or get a PC low end model just for gaming.

Mar 20, 2020 I can even run it in 4K on my 2010 Mac Pro, with a MacVidCards GTX980, quite a few macs should be able to run it at 1080p on medium settings. Make sure you have a SSD. My 2011 MBP can also run it, and my 2018 MBP runs it quite happily. Make sure you get the right one for your region. This is the EU one.
